Cultivating a spirit of continual improvement
Peer groups have a responsibility to create an environment where members can rightfully expect to be encouraged, challenged and supported. This is not a ‘cosy chat’ or a lunch club. It is a confidential space where members come to learn, to hear from speakers across diverse industry sectors and to draw wisdom and experience from their peers.
With an annual plan of content, there is a healthy mix of sharing issues, understanding new techniques and models in the leadership space, and having access to experts as well as peers to identify new approaches or fresh ideas. A willingness to be open, to listen and to be curious is fundamental to successful continuous improvement.
